| By:

LAKE CHARLES- The McNeese Soccer team (1-1-0) will return home to Cowgirl Field, Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.  to face Prairie View A&M (0-2) for the tenth time in school history. The Pokes dominate the series with a perfect 9-0 record against the Panthers.

Sunday afternoon's contest will be Youth Appreciation Day. Kids 12 and under will earn free admission and the Cowgirls will stick around to sign autographs after the game.

The Pokes are returning home from a hard-fought 1-0 loss at nationally ranked LSU Friday night. The Tigers scored early on a PK in the third minute. Freshman keeper Kelly Hines put on a show making eight saves in her second start.

Prairie View A&M is coming off its second loss of the season after dropping a 1-0 decision at Texas State last Sunday. The Panthers will see their first action in over a week.

After Sunday's game, the Cowgirls will travel to Ruston next Friday for a match-up against Louisiana Tech at 6 p.m.
