"Overall it was just a very disappointing outing and we have to do some soul searching before we start conference Thursday. This group is capable of really playing well. We have to find consistency," said Fitzgerald.

McNeese will need to regroup quickly as they begin Southland Conference action Thursday at Southeastern Louisiana.
