WBB: Cowgirls Travel To UNO Saturday

LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's basketball will look to bounce back from a 73-56 loss at Incarnate Word on Wednesday when the Cowgirls travel to the Crescent City to face New Orleans at 4 p.m. Saturday.

McNeese (4-11, 1-5 SLC) will be playing its second straight road contest and will also be looking to pick up its first road win of the season.
 
Seniors Regan Bolton and Damilola Balogun lead the Cowgirls in scoring with 10.9 ppg., and 10.0 ppg., respectively. Balogun also leads the team with 9.0 rpg.
 
Sophomore Divine Tanks is coming off her second-best game of the season after scoring 17 points at UIW. The 17 points is one-point shy of tying her career high.
 
UNO (8-7, 4-2 SLC) hasn't played a game in a week and are coming off a 67-55 win at UIW last Saturday. The Privateers enter the game riding a five-game winning streak and are led in scoring by Rehema Franklin (11.7 ppg.) and Asia Woods (10.3 ppg.). Whitley Larry leads the Privateers with 6.6 rpg.
