LAKE CHARLES— McNeese women's basketball, coming off its 88-72 home win over HBU last Saturday will travel to Thibodaux on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. Southland Conference contest.

McNeese (5-13, 2-7 SLC) is coming off its best field goal percent of the season (56.5), three-point field goal percent (68.4) and three-pointers made (13) on Wednesday that saw the Cowgirls connect on 35 of 62 attempts from the field and 13 of 19 from behind the arc.
 
Regan Bolton and 
Shaela Gardner accounted for 11 of the 13 treys made in the game with Bolton tying her career high six and Gardner with a career high five.
 
Damilola Balogun continued her double double streak with 17 points and 16 rebounds. The double double is her sixth in the last seven games. She leads the Cowgirls with 9.8 rebounds per game and the Southland Conference with 11.6 rpg. in conference games. Balogun is second on the team in scoring with 10.6 ppg. Balogun currently ranks 19
th in the nation in defensive rebounds, pulling down 7.3 per game.
 
As a team, the Cowgirls lead the league in three-point field goal percent (40.0), fifth in scoring (63.4) and three-pointers made (5.8) in conference games.
 
Nicholls (5-14, 2-8 SLC) will begin a three-game home stand against the Cowgirls and are coming off a 77-65 road loss at UNO on Saturday.
