McNeese women's basketball will travel to Prairie View Wednesday for an 2 p.m. It will be the Cowgirls third straight road contest and the fourth road game out of five games played this season.
 
McNeese (0-4) is coming off a 69-48 road loss at Memphis last Saturday, continues to struggle with slow starts that have made it difficult for the Cowgirls to put together comebacks.
 
Sophomores Lizzy Ratcliff and Maia Robinson are coming off career highs against Memphis. Ratcliff scored a career high 14 points and Robinson pulled down a career high 12 rebounds. Robinson leads the team with 6.0 rpg. while Richard leads in scoring with 8.6 pp.
 
The game will be the season opener for Prairie View.
