LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's basketball will return to the court Wednesday when the Cowgirls travel to Lafayette to face Louisiana-Lafayette in an 11 a.m. contest at the Cajundome. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and can be heard on 1470 AM with Bruce Merchant on the call.
McNeese (0-3) will look to regroup from a disappointing 68-67 home loss against East Texas Baptist last Thursday.

Maia Robinson is coming off the bench to lead the Cowgirls in rebounds with 6.0 per contest. Robinson grabbed a game high eight in the Cowgirls' last outing.
ULL (0-1) had their first two scheduled games of the season against New Orleans and Loyola (N.O.) cancelled before they opened the season with an 83-74 home loss to North Texas last Friday.
Five Cajuns scored in double figures with Jomyra Mathis leading the way with 18 points. Ty'Reona Doucet led the Cajuns with 10 rebounds.
