COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The McNeese Cowgirl tennis squad will be back in action on Friday after nearly two weeks off from competition when it visits Texas A&M at 6 p.m.
 
The match will be the second of the day for the Aggies as they host Illinois at 1 o'clock.
 
McNeese (1-5) last played on Feb. 1 when it dropped a 7-0 decision at SMU. All six of the Cowgirls matches have come on the road. It's first schedule home match, against Tyler Junior College on Feb. 9, was postponed. After Friday's match, the Cowgirls will return to action on Tuesday, Feb. 18 when they host Louisiana-Lafayette at 3 p.m.
 
Texas A&M is 6-2 on the season with its only losses coming against 14^th-ranked Florida State (4-0) and to No. 15 Central Florida (5-2). The Aggies have a win over then-No. 23 Miami (4-2) and Southland Conference foe Sam Houston State (4-2).
