LAKE CHARLES— McNeese women's basketball returns to Southland Conference action on Wednesday to host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at the H&HP Complex. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m.

McNeese (5-15, 2-9 SLC) will close out a two-game home stand following its 87-69 home loss to Lamar on Saturday.
 
Senior Damilola Balogun picked up her fifth straight double double of the season after leading McNeese in scoring with 20 points and added 18 rebounds to complete the double double. It was her eighth double double in the last nine games. She leads the Cowgirls in both scoring (11.6 ppg.) and rebounds (10.3 rpg.). In conference games, she leads the league with 12.2 rpg. and is second with a 90.5 free throw percent.
 
Regan Bolton enters the game averaging 11.0 ppg. and ranks third in conference games with 2.8 three-pointers made per contest.
 
Sky Jasper is averaging 9.3 ppg. and 4.6 rpg. Jasper is coming off her first double double of the season including a career high 10 rebounds along with 16 points against Lamar.
 
As a team, the rank second in three-point field goal percent, fourth in assists, and fifth in scoring offense in conference games.
 
The Islanders (15-6, 9-2 SLC) enter the game as one of three teams currently tied for first place in the standings. Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston State are also 9-2 in league play. TAMU-CC enters the game on a six-game winning streak following its 75-65 win at Houston Baptist on Saturday.
