LAKE CHARLES— McNeese women's basketball will conclude its 2019-20 season at Lamar Saturday in its "Battle of the Border" game. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. and the game can be seen on ESPN3.
 
McNeese (5-23, 2-17 SLC) will look to end the season on a positive note and snap a 10-game losing streak following its 72-53 home finale loss to Nicholls Wednesday that saw the Cowgirls hold a slim two-point lead at the half.
 
It will be the final game for seniors Regan Bolton, Bre'Ashlee Jones, Sky Jasper, and Damilola Balogun.
 
Balogun enters the game leading the team in scoring (11.2 ppg.), rebounds (10.5 rpg.), a 45.8 field goal percent, and an 83.3 free throw shooting percent. Bolton is averaging 10.5 ppg. and leads the team with a 37.2 3-point field goal shooting percent. She enters the game with 213 career three-pointers, needing four to move into second place in McNeese career 3-pointers.
 
Jones is coming off a 13-point game against Nicholls where she was 5 of 7 from the floor and 3 of 5 from the free throw line. Jones is averaging 8.6 ppg. and 6.5 rpg. and is second on the team with a 44.5 field goal percent/
 
Jasper is also averaging 8.6 ppg. along with 4.0 rpg. and has scored in double figures in eight games this season with one double double.
 
Lamar (9-19, 5-14 SLC) will also be playing their final game of the season and will also be looking to snap a losing streak of eight games following its 70-50 loss at Stephen F. Austin on Feb. 29.
 
Angel Hastings leads the Cardinals in scoring (12.8 ppg.) while Briana Laidler leads the team with 7.9 rpg.
