LAKE CHARLES– McNeese volleyball (9-7, 3-2 SLC) will travel to Texas A&M Corpus Christi (9-7, 5-0 SLC) on Thursday, October 14 at 6:30 p.m.  

The Islanders enter the match ranked first in the Southland Conference standings followed by Houston Baptist (4-1). After a 3-0 sweep of Northwestern State last week, the Cowgirls will enter the match tied for third place with Incarnate Word and Southeastern.  

McNeese freshman Aryn Johnson continues to be a standout newcomer, leading the Cowgirls with 160 kills. Senior Regan Stiawalt leads the team with 21 service aces and is second on the team with 106 digs and 125 kills.  

Ceci Harness has proved to be an exceptional asset to the Cowgirls with 324 assists. The defensive effort has been led by Lizzy Low with 181 digs and Bria Plante with 47 blocks. 

The Islanders are led by Kyndal Payne with 177 kills and 24 blocks. Carissa Barnes leads the team with 314 digs.
