WBB: Cowgirls Travel To Arkansas State Monday

McNeese women's basketball will hit the road for its next two games beginning with its Monday night game at Arkansas State. The game will be available on ESPN+ and can be heard on talk1470.com with Bruce Merchant calling all the action.
 
McNeese (2-0) is coming off a school record 17 three-pointers in its 98-48 home opening win over Southwestern Assemblies of God. McNeese opened the game on a 12-0 run and never looked back.   
 
Zuzanna Kulinska and Kyla Hamilton led the Cowgirls with 18 and 14 points, respectively. Divine Clara Rosini and Divine Tanks led McNeese with five rebounds apiece. Not only were the Cowgirls scoring from behind the arc, they were sharing the ball as well, ending the game with 26 assists. Desirae Hansen led McNeese with eight assists while Hamilton had five.
 
Kulinska is currently leading the team in scoring (10.0 ppg.) and rebounds (5.0 rpg.). Kaili Chamberlin and Hansen are both averaging close to 10 points a game while Hansen, Divine Tanks, and Emerson Taylor are all averaging at least four rebounds per game.
 
Arkansas State enters the game with a 1-1 record following a 101-89 road loss at Oklahoma last Friday. The Red Wolves opened the season with an 83-52 home win over Central Baptist College.
 
The Red Wolves have five players averaging in double figures and are led by Lauryn Pendleton's 17.0 ppg. Trintee Jackson leads the team with 6.0 rpg.
