 LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball will make its 33^rd Southland Conference Tournament appearance when the No. 3 seed Cowgirls open play at noon Friday, Nov. 19 against No. 7 seed Nicholls in Houston, Texas on the campus of Houston Baptist. The match will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
Second year head coach Kristee Porter guided McNeese to a 16-10 overall record and a 9-5 conference record to secure its highest conference finish since 2006.
 
The Cowgirls, led by All-SLC second teamer Aryn Johnson will look for its third win over Nicholls after defeating the Colonels 3-1 in both meetings during the regular season.
 
Johnson was joined on the All-Southland team by junior Kendall Glueck and sophomore Macee Krpec.
 
Nicholls advanced following its 3-1 first round win over Northwestern State earlier today.
 
A win over Nicholls on Friday would advance McNeese to a semifinal match at noon Friday against No. 2 seed Houston Baptist.
