LAKE CHARLES— McNeese women's basketball will return to the court for its fifth straight road game this Saturday when the Cowgirls travel to Louisiana-Monroe for a noon contest. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and can be heard live on Talkradio1470AM with Bruce Merchant calling the action.

McNeese (3-7) will look to snap a five-game losing streak with its last four losses coming against teams from the Pac-12, WAC, and SEC.

Most recently, McNeese fell to 109-38 at Oregon on Monday in the last game of its West Coast trip.

Desirae Hansen continues to lead the Cowgirls in scoring with 10.3 ppg. while
Divine Tanks leads the team with 7.4 rpg.

As a team, McNeese will enter the game ranked ninth in the nation offensive rebounds per game, averaging 17.2 per game. The Cowgirls are also ranked seventh in three-pointers attempted with 303 attempts for an average of 30.3 per game.

ULM (4-8), who is coached by former Cowgirl head coach Brooks Donald Williams, are in the midst of an eight game homestand. The Warhawks have won two of their last three games and are coming off a 76-72 loss against Northwestern State on Wednesday.

Kyren Whittington who didn't see action against NW State, leads ULM in scoring with 11.4 ppg. Kierra Crockett leads the Warhawks with 6.4 rpg. Crockett is coming off a double double (13 pts., 10 reb.) against NW State. Â
