McNeese visits K-State on the hardwood on Tuesday

MANHATTEN, Kansas – McNeese will play one more game away from home before the Christmas holiday when it visits Kansas State at 7 on Tuesday.
 
The game will broadcast live on ESPN+ and on the McNeese Sports Network (Magic 92.1 FM and mymagiclc.com).
 
McNeese (3-8) had its Saturday home game against Dallas Christian canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the DC program. Because of that cancellation, the Cowboys will be playing their sixth straight game away from home and will not return to Burton Coliseum until a Dec. 30 matchup with Ecclesia College, making it a total of 38 days since their previous home game on Nov. 22.
 
The Cowboys have dropped five straight games with but has shown improvements in the last two losses at ULL and UTEP, a game that McNeese led until the final minutes.
 
Kansas State is 7-3 on the season and 5-1 in its home arena of Bramlage Coliseum. The Wildcats have won two straight and are coming off a 67-58 win at Nebraska.
 
Tuesday's game will be the first-ever matchup between McNeese and K-State.
 
Myles Lewis leads the Cowboys in scoring with a 10.7 average while Brendan Medley-Bacon is scoring at a 10.1 clip while also topping the team with 6.5 rebounds per game.
 
For the Wildcats, Nijel Pack is averaging 14.5 points per game and Markquis Nowell with a 12.3 mark.
