LAKE CHARLES - After 38 days since last playing at home, the McNeese Cowboys return to Burton Coliseum on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. when they host Ecclesia College in the final game of the calendar year.
"Really excited to be back home and in Lake Charles," said head coach
John Aiken. "It's been a hard road. We have played one of the toughest schedules in the country. Our guys have battled and have been resilient through it all.
"It will be nice to be in front of our fans, and then to be able to continue stacking some practices here in Lake Charles. We hope we get a great group of fans to come out and support."
Following Thursday's game, the Cowboys will open play next Thursday in the Southland Tip-Off Tournament in Katy, Texas. McNeese will take on New Orleans in the first round at 7:30 Thursday night.
