WBB: Cowgirls Return To The Court To Host UNO Saturday

McNeese women's basketball return to play Saturday to host New Orleans following a week off due to postponed games at Lamar and Incarnate Word on Monday and Thursday. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. at Burton Coliseum. The game will be streamed on mcneesesports.com can be heard on talk1470.com.
 
With the lack of water pressure due to abnormal weather conditions the past few days, Burton Coliseum officials have announced that no fans will be allowed.
 
McNeese (5-9, 5-2 SLC) enters the game in third place in the Southland Conference standings behind Stephen F. Austin and Incarnate Word.
 
The Cowgirls are coming off a 65-41 win at Northwestern State last Saturday and will be looking for its second win over the Privateers this season. McNeese picked up a 67-61 win in New Orleans on Jan. 16 despite not having its leading scorer Divine Tanks playing.
 
The Cowgirls will have a full squad on Saturday and Tanks enters the game averaging 10.4 ppg. and 6.9 rpg., both team highs.
 
Kyla Hamilton is second on the team in scoring with 9.8 ppg. while Maia Robinson is second in rebounds with 4.8 per contest.
 
UNO (4-12, 1-9 SLC) has lost their last five games including a 60-57 road loss at Incarnate Word last Saturday. The Privateers are led in scoring by Dionjhae Thomas' 11.8 ppg. while Erin Randle leads UNO with 5.5 rpg.
