McNeese women's basketball will conclude its regular season week with its final game on the road at Nicholls on Wednesday, March 3. Tipoff from Stopher Gymnasium is set for 6 p.m. The game can be heard on talk1470.com.
 
McNeese (6-6, 6-13 SLC) is coming off a 62-47 road loss at Central Arkansas on Monday in a game where the Cowgirls were outrebounded 54-27.
 
Wednesday's game marks the final regular season road contest for the Cowgirls who enter the game in seventh place in the league standings. The Top 10 teams will advance to next week's Southland Conference Tournament. McNeese will conclude the regular season at 1 pm. this Saturday against Lamar. Lone senior Shaela Gardner will be honored prior to the game.
 
Junior Divine Tanks and Kyla Hamilton are both averaging in double figures with 10.6 ppg., and 10.2 ppg., respectively. Hamilton is coming off a game high 19 points against UCA.
 
Nicholls (9-13, 8-7 SLC) enters the game in sixth place, ½ game out of fourth place. The Colonels are coming off a 66-59 road game at New Orleans last Saturday.
 
Chelsea Cain and Anna McKendree are averaging in double figures with 17.1 ppg. and 10.4 ppg., respectively.
