McNeese women's basketball, who clinched a berth in next week's Southland Conference Tournament, will host Lamar Saturday in its regular season finale. Tipoff is set for 1p.m. at Burton Coliseum. The game will be streamed (paid subscription) and can be heard live on talk1470.com.
 
Senior guard Shaela Gardner and manager Trenton "Buddy" Soileau will be honored prior to the game.
 
McNeese (6-14, 6-14 SLC) will look to end the regular season on a positive note and carry that momentum into the conference tournament next week.  
 
Sophomore Kyla Hamilton and junior Divine Tanks continue to lead the Cowgirls in scoring with 10.7 ppg. and 10.6 ppg., respectively. Tanks also leads McNeese with 7.2 rpg. while Hamilton is dishing out a team best 3.0 apg.
 
Lamar  (9-13, 8-6 SLC) clinched a berth in the SLC Tournament with its 59-48 road win and Incarnate Word. The Cardinals are led in scoring by Micaela Wilson's 12.3 ppg. while Jadyn Pimental is averaging 9.7 ppg. Wilson also leads the team with 6.5 rpg. and Bebe Galloway is pulling down 6.2 per contest.
