LAKE CHARLES – McNeese tennis will wrap up Southland Conference action this weekend when the Cowgirls host Sam Houston at 1 on Friday followed by a Sunday match versus Stephen F. Austin at 11 a.m.
The Cowgirls (1-14, 1-7 SLC) have dropped six straight matches since beating Incarnate Word back on February 28.
Sam Houston (13-3, 8-1) is currently tied atop the league standings with New Orleans while SFA (8-9, 2-7) is battling with the Cowgirls for the eighth and final spot for the league postseason tournament which will be held April 22-24 in Beaumont.

Natalia Ballo leads the Cowgirls with a 6-8 singles record. The Barcelona native has won her last three singles outings and four out of her last five.
