BATON ROUGE---McNeese junior outside hitter Regan Stiawalt has been named to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) All-Louisiana Volleyball Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
 
Stiawalt, a native of Ness City, Kansas was named to the second team after ending the season with 112 kills (3.32 per set) which ranked her fifth in the Southland Conference. The third team All-SLC selection was second on the team with 103 digs and 12 service aces which ranked her 12^th in the SLC.  
 
LSU's Taylor Bannister was named the Player of the Year while Xavier's Pat Kendrick and UL-Lafayette's Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot were named Co-Coaches of the Year.
 
Also, Northwestern State's Haley Hoang was the Libero of the Year Xavier's Semira Blair was the Newcomer of the Year, and Southeastern Louisiana's Kailin Newsome was the Freshman of the Year.
