LAKE CHARLES—Coming off its 3-0 home opening win against Lamar on Tuesday, McNeese volleyball will once again hit the road for its second tournament in the state of Texas in as many weekends. 

The Cowgirls will take part in the University of Houston Flo Hyman Collegiate Cup, a tournament McNeese won in 2017. This will be the second of three regular-season tournaments for the Cowgirls this season. 

McNeese will open tournament action on Friday with a 10 a.m. match against Mississippi State followed by a 2 p.m. match against UL-Monroe. 

The final match of the weekend will be against the host team, Houston on Saturday at 11 a.m. 

 Fans can support the Cowgirls from a distance this weekend by watching the live stream of the University of Houston match. Live stats will be available for all three matches. 

Heading into the weekend, freshman Aryn Johnson leads the Cowgirls' offense with 46 kills while senior Regan Stiawalt has 33. Stiawalt leads the team with 34 digs and eight service aces.  

Setters Baylee Laskoskie and Ceci Harness, who have been splitting duties have 61 and 57 assists, respectively. 

Junior Kendall Glueck leads McNeese with 11 blocks while sophomore Bria Plante has nine.
