Season Opener:Â McNeese will open its season on Sunday, Jan. 16 at preseason 14th ranked Texas A&M Aggies. First serve is set for 12 p.m. The Cowgirls will remain in College Station to take on Tarleton State at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 17

Cowgirls Roster Filled With Youth: McNeese's roster consists of only two upperclassmen in juniors Matilde Mulatero and Carlotto Romito. The rest of the Cowgirls roster consists of four sophomores (Yukina Abe, Natalie Ballo, Anna Domingo-Bernabeu, and Luna Jokanovic.
Two Cowgirls Make Collegiate Debut: Freshmen Tiana Fox and Ariane Monlleo Sanchis will make their collegiate debuts as Cowgirls this season.
Cowgirls On The Road: Â McNeese will begin its season on the road for its first six matches including matches against two ITA preseason Top 25 teams. The Cowgirls open the season at No. 14 Texas A&M (Jan. 16) and will travel to #15 Florida State on Jan. 23. The Cowgirls will also face Florida A&M on the road (Tallahassee, Fl.) along with road matches at Houston and La. Tech.
Eight Home Matches On The 2022 Schedule: McNeese has eight home matches on the schedule this season with its season opener set for Feb. 12 against UL-Lafayette.
Southland Conference Openers: The Southland Conference opener is set for March 12 at New Orleans while the SLC home opener is set for April 1 against Southeastern.
