LAKE CHARLES— McNeese women's basketball will look to extend its two-game winning streak when the Cowgirls continue their four game home stand with a 1 p.m. game against New Orleans on Saturday.
 
McNeese (7-10, 2-2 SLC) is coming off a 73-65 win over Nicholls on Thursday that saw the Cowgirls defensive efforts come forth in holding the Southland's leading scorer well below her average.
 
Zuzanna Kulinska tied her career high with 18 points and Desirae Hansen scored in double figure for the third straight game by pitching in with 14 points. Hansen enters Saturday's game averaging 10.1 ppg. while Kaili Chamberlin is averaging 10.0 ppg. Divine Tanks continues be a force on the board as she leads the team with 7.4 rpg.
 
UNO (1-10, 0-4 SLC) will be looking to pick up its first SLC win of the season after falling 58-49 at Houston Baptist on Thursday.
 
The Privateers have three players averaging in double figures with Brianna Ellis averaging 15.5 ppg. but has only played in four games this season. DeArica Pryor is averaging 11.2 ppg., and Jomyra Mathis is averaging 10.1 ppg.
