LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's soccer will host Houston Christian at 7 p.m. Friday night and Incarnate Word at 1 p.m. Sunday for "Senior Weekend" to conclude the Cowgirls' home schedule.

McNeese's (4-5-4, 2-2-4 SLC) last three games have ended up in a tie and four of its last five games have ended up in a tie. The four ties match the school record posted by two other Cowgirl squads- the 2007 and 1999 teams.
With four games remaining in the regular season, the Cowgirls are tied for fifth place with Houston Christian (3-7-1, 3-3-1 SLC) who both enter Friday's game with 10 points each. The Huskies are coming off a 1-0 road loss at UIW last Sunday.
UIW (2-7-3, 1-4-3 SLC) will face Nicholls on Friday before heading to Lake Charles to face McNeese Sunday for the second time this season. Both teams played to a 2-2 in San Antonio, Texas on Sept. 23.

• McNeese enters the weekend tied for fifth place in the SLC standings with Houston Christian, the Cowgirls' opponent Friday. Both teams enter the game with 10 points.
• Lamar heads into the weekend in first place with 19 points followed by Northwestern State (14 pts.). Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Texas A&M-Commerce are tied for third place with 13 points apiece.
• It's the first and only regular season meeting against HCU this season
• It will be the second time the Cowgirls and UIW have played each other this season. The game in San Antonio, Texas on Sept 23 ended in a 2-2 tie. The tie also marked the first Cowgirl tie this season.
• The four ties this season equals the program record of four also posted by the 2007 and 1999 teams.
