FRISCO, Texas – The Southland Conference has announced its 2022-23 Basketball Virtual Media Day will be held on Tuesday, October 25, and broadcast live on ESPN+ beginning at 10 a.m. CT.
Coverage will consist of a day-long program as the head women's and men's basketball coaches from the Southland's 10 institutions will be available for 15-minute sessions with hosts and analysts Jack Benjamin and Tic Price.
Commissioner Chris Grant will kick off the day, while the preseason polls and all-conference teams will be revealed.
McNeese Cowboys head coach John Aiken and Cowgirls head coach Lynn Kennedy will be featured at 11:07 a.m., following the head coaches from Lamar.
Fans and media are invited to participate during Media Day via Twitter by using the hashtag #SouthlandHoops.
