LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's soccer will travel to Hammond this Sunday, Oct. 23 to face Southeastern in the Cowgirls' only game this week. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. with the game being streamed on ESPN+.
McNeese (5-6-4, 3-3-4 SLC) enters its next to last regular season game tied for fifth place in the league standings with Texas A&M-Commerce. Both teams enter the weekend with 13 points.
In the last seven games, the Cowgirls have posted a 2-1-4 record and will enter the game coming off a 3-0 home finale win over Incarnate Word.
Southeastern (5-5-3, 3-3-3 SLC) enters the weekend in sixth place in the league standings with 12 points and three games left. The Lions will play at Nicholls Friday night before hosting McNeese.
McNeese will look to avenge a 2-1 loss against the Lions on Sept. 11 in Lake Charles.
