LAKE CHARLES- After three road matches, McNeese volleyball returns home Thursday, Oct. 27 to host Nicholls in its 6:30 p.m. Halloween themed Southland Conference match.

Admission is free for all home matches but fans are asked to bring canned goods for the remaining home matches to help contribute to the McNeese SAAC Holiday Food Drive.

Fans attending the match are asked to park at FK White Middle School (1000 East McNeese Street) due to the Athletic parking lots being unavailable due to the McNeese Homecoming Parade.

McNeese will look to pick up its second win over Nicholls this season. The Cowgirls defeated the Colonels 3-0 in Thibodaux on Sept. 29.

Fans are encouraged to dress into their Halloween costume to be entered into the costume contest. Candy will be distributed to the first 50 fans who enter the Legacy Center.

McNeese (12-13, 8-3 SLC) will enter the match tied for first place with Houston Christian in the league standings. The Cowgirls have won seven of their last eight matches and are on their longest winning streak this season, having won their last four matches.

The Cowgirls have been getting it done from the service line, accounting for 27 aces in the last three matches.

Nicholls (4-19, 1-10 SLC) will look to snap a 10-match losing skid after its 3-0 home loss to Incarnate Word last Saturday. The Colonels' lone conference win was a 3-0 win against Incarnate Word in the SLC opener on Sept. 22.
