LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's soccer will open the 2022 Southland Conference Tournament in Natchitoches at 7 p.m. Wednesday against host and the tournament's No. 2 seed Northwestern State at the Lady Demon Soccer Complex.
 
All tournament games will be streamed on ESPN+ and live stats will also be available. Links to all Cowgirl games can be found on mcneesesports.com.
 
McNeese (5-8-4), who is making its 19^th overall tournament appearance and seventh under seventh year head coach Drew Fitzgerald, enters the tournament as the No. 7 seed.
 
The Cowgirls and Lady Demons (10-3-3) played to a 1-1 tie in Lake Charles on Oct. 2 in the only meeting between the two teams this season.
 
The tournament will kick off with No. 4 seed Houston Christian facing No. 5 seed Southeastern at 1 p.m. followed by a 4 p.m. game against No. 3 seed Texas A&M-Commerce and No. 6 seed. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
 
After a recovery day, the tournament will resume Friday for the semifinals with the championship game set for 1 p.m. Sunday.
