NEW ORLEANS – McNeese basketball will visit Tulane on Friday night at 6 p.m. in Fogelman Arena. The game will broadcast live on ESPN+.

The Cowboys (1-0) defeated Champion Christian 110-54 in their season opener on Monday night to mark the first time in 10 years the Cowboys have started out the season with a win. A win against Tulane will mark the first 2-0 start for McNeese since the 2005-06 season.

In the Cowboys' win, six players scored in double-figures with
Christian Shumate leading the way with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Zach Scott added 15 points while
Johnathan Massie scored 13. Newcomer Malachi Rhodes chipped in with 12 points, Roberts Berze had 11 and Donovan Oday 10.

Tulane was led in scoring by Kevin Cross and Jaylen Forbes, each with 21 points.

Friday's game will mark the fourth meeting in the series with McNeese holding a 2-1 edge. The Cowboys defeated the Green Wave 70-63 in 2016 in the last match-up.
