LAKE CHARLES—McNeese first year head women's tennis coach has announced the addition of Anastasija Adeikyte to her signing class. Adeikyte joins Heta Nuutinen and Maria Wang Oliveras Martinez who signed NLI's last week.
"We are happy to be able to announce another outstanding addition to our tennis family," said head coach Gabby Moore. "Anastasija is a highly driven, motivated competitor who believes in this program and wants to bring it historic success. We are thrilled that she will be joining us next fall and can't wait to see her flourish. She brings a passion for the game and will fit into our culture perfectly. She knew exactly what she was looking for in a program throughout the entire recruiting process, and we are excited that she's found her home here at McNeese.
The native of Vilnius, Lithuania was a member of the Lithuanian U-16 singles and doubles vice-champion with her highest ITF ranking of 747. She is a ITF J3 Doubles winner in Liepaja, Latvia, placing third in doubles at the Lithuanian Championship. Adeikyet represented Lithuania in the Juniors Padel World Championship.
