LAKE CHARLES—League leading McNeese volleyball will play its final two regular season road matches this weekend when the Cowgirls travel to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (10-18, 10-4 SLC) Thursday for a 6:30 p.m. match followed by a 10 a.m. match at Incarnate Word (6-18, 5-9 SLC) Saturday.
McNeese (15-13, 11-3 SLC) moved into sole possession of first place with its 3-2 home win over Houston Christian Tuesday night and will look to pick up a season sweep over both the Islanders and Cardinals. The Cowgirls defeated TAMU-CC in five sets and UIW in four sets nearly a month ago.
