LAKE CHARLES – McNeese women's basketball will travel to Oxford, Mississippi Saturday for the first of its two final games in 2022. Tipoff is set for Noon with the game being streamed on SECN+. Bruce Merchant will call the game on Cajun Radio 1470 AM.
Following Saturday's game, the Cowgirls will play at Texas Tech on Monday, Dec. 19 in its final game before the Christmas break.
The Cowgirls will open Southland Conference play at Lamar on Dec. 31.
Storylines:
• McNeese and Ole Miss will meet for the 9
th time in history. The Rebels lead the series 7-1.
• The Rebels have won last two consecutive games with the last meeting being a 99-44 Ole Miss win on Nov. 30, 2022.
• The McNeese win over Ole Miss was an 80-75 win on Dec. 29, 2012, at the Tulane/DoubleTree Classic.
• McNeese is coming off a 76-66 home win over UL-Monroe on Wednesday.
• Three Cowgirls scored in double figures in the win over UL-Monroe.

Stephanie Guihon led all players with a career high 17 points in the win Wednesday.
