LAKE CHARLES— McNeese women's basketball will look to snap a two-game losing streak this Thursday when the Cowgirls travel to Thibodaux to take on Nicholls, a team they defeated 73-65 in Lake Charles on Jan. 27. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. at Stopher Gym.
 
McNeese (9-13, 4-5 SLC) is coming off losses at Southeastern and most recently suffered a 90-72 road loss at Northwestern State last Saturday.
 
Kaili Chamberlin and Desirae Hansen are both averaging in double figures with Chamberlin averaging 10.7 ppg. and Hansen averaging 10.5 ppg. Divine Tanks continues to lead in rebounds with 7.2 per contest.
 
Nicholls (4-15, 2-6 SLC) has lost six of its last seven games including its two games last week. The Colonels fell 78-76 in overtime to Incarnate Word last Thursday before falling 64-60 to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday.
 
The Colonels enter the game with three players averaging in double figures. Chelsea Cain leads the team with 15.6 ppg. while Chyna Allen is averaging 13.3 ppg. Bryanna Washington is averaging 11.2 ppg. and leads the team with 7.2 rpg.  
 
NEXT GAME The Cowgirls will close out its four-game in two weeks road slate on Saturday, Feb. 19 in a 2 p.m. game at New Orleans.
