LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's basketball, coming off a statement win over league leading Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Thursday night, will return to the Legacy Center Saturday to host Incarnate Word at 1 p.m. in its home finale. Prior to the game, graduate senior Lana Skripkinna will be recognized.
 
McNeese (12-13, 7-5) extended its winning streak to three games and made things a lot more interesting in the league standings with the win over Texas A&M-CC.
 
Heading into Saturday's game against UIW (9-14, 5-7 SLC), McNeese remains in fourth place with two games remaining. TAMU-CC (9-2) has two games remaining also, HBU (9-2) who enters Saturday's home game against TAMU-CC and tied atop the league standings with the Islanders has three games left including its season finale against McNeese. Southeastern (9-3), who is currently in second place has two games left as well.
 
McNeese will look for its second win over UIW this season after its 67-57 win over the Cardinals on Jan. 22 in San Antonio, Texas.
