McNeese women's tennis (1-7) will travel to familiar territory this Saturday when the Cowgirls travel to Nacogdoches, Texas to take on former Southland Conference member Stephen F. Austin (5-5). First serve is set for 11 a.m.
The Cowgirls are coming off a 6-1 home loss to New Mexico on Sunday and will be looking to snap a two-match losing skid.
Natalia Ballo leads the Cowgirls with three victories on the season, all coming at the No. 3 singles spot while Yukina Abe has two wins on the year.
The Ladyjacks snapped a two-match losing streak with a 4-0 win over Prairie View on Wednesday. Ana Kouchnareva leads SFA with a 6-2 record while Nyah Kauders is 5-1 on the year including a perfect 3-0 record at the top singles spot.

Cowgirls Roster Is Filled With Youth: McNeese's roster consists of only two upperclassmen in juniors Matilde Mulatero and Carlotto Romito. The rest of the Cowgirls roster consists of four sophomores (Yukina Abe, Natalie Ballo, Anna Domingo-Bernabeu, and Luna Jokanovic.

Southland Conference Openers: The Southland Conference opener is set for March 12 at New Orleans while the SLC home opener is set for April 1 against Southeastern.
