WTEN: Cowgirls Open SLC Tournament Against No. 2 Texas A&M-CC

LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's tennis, the No. 7 seed in this year's Southland Conference Tournament will open tournament play at 9 a.m. Friday, April 22 against No. 2 seed Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at the University Tennis Center on the campus of UNO.
 
McNeese (3-15, 1-5 SLC) fell 7-0 to the Islanders (19-3, 5-1 SLC) in Lake Charles in its regular season finale on April 9.   
 
Ariane Monlleo Sanchis and Natalia Ballo lead the Cowgirls with six wins apiece on the season while Yukina Abe has five wins on the season.
