TUSCALOOSA, Ala.—Senior
Kendall Glueck led McNeese with a season high 15 kills and six blocks here Saturday in a 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 22-25, 20-25) loss to UTSA on the final day of the Alabama Crimson Tide Invitational.

Glueck, for the second straight match, led McNeese in kills after recording 12 in Friday's match against Southern Miss.
UTSA graduate transfer
Mia Perales led McNeese with 20 assists while Deja Dade added 14.
On the defensive side,
Lizzy Low was credited with a season high 20 digs. Low ends the weekend with 50 digs after picking up 18 against Alabama and 12 against Southern Miss.
Sophomore
Bailey Tillman came off the bench to record a career high 17 digs.
Sophomore
McKenzie Moore also had a career day at the net by turning back five blocks.
McNeese will travel to Nacogdoches, Texas next weekend to take part in the Stephen F. Austin Tournament. The Cowgirls will face SFA (11 a.m.) and Tulsa (5 p.m.) on Friday, Sept. 1 and will end tournament play with an 11 a.m. match on Saturday against South Alabama.
Set 1
• McNeese let a 13-9 lead slip away as UTSA tied the set at 14. The Roadrunners scored the next four points to take an 18-14 lead.
• McNeese made a comeback of its own to tie the set at 19 on a block solo by
Kendall Glueck and
Sanni Rantanen.
• The match would result in three more ties, the last at 22-22 before UTSA would outscore McNeese 3-1 the rest of the way to win the set 25-23.
Set 2
• Four straight points off the serve of
Sanni Rantanen put the Cowgirls up 21-17
• UTSA got within two points (23-21) but kills by
Macee Krpec and
Kendall Glueck gave McNeese the second set win to even the match at one set apiece.
Set 3
• UTSA jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead then extends the lead to 14-9
• Trailing 15-10, McNeese scored three straight points to cut the lead to 15-13 on a kill by

• Cowgirls went an 10-2 run to take a 20-17 lead but UTSA outscored McNeese 8-2 the rest of the way to win the set
Set 4
• McNeese went on a 6-1 run after trailing 20-14 to cut the lead to 21-20.
• Following a UTSA timeout, the roadrunners scored the next five points to win the set 25-20 and the match
