VB: Cowgirls Host NW State On Alumni Day

LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball, fresh off its 3-2 come from behind Southland Conference opening win over Texas A&M-Commerce Thursday night, will host Northwestern State Saturday, Sept. 23. First serve at the Legacy Center is set for 11 a.m.
 
Due to Saturday's home football game, fans attending the match are asked to park at FK White Middle School (1000 East McNeese St.-see map below) which is located East of the Legacy Center.
 
McNeese will welcome its former alumni for the match, who will be recognized between sets two and three with a reception following the match on the concourse of the Legacy Center.
 
McNeese (5-10, 1-0 SLC) has won four of its last six matches and has had several players step up during these wins.
 
Heading into Saturday's match, Kendall Glueck has a team high 182 kills and is coming off a 20-kill night against TAMUC.
 
Mia Perales continues to lead the team with 326 assists along with 44 career assists she dished out on Thursday. Perales also leads the Cowgirls with 13 service aces.
 
Bailey Tillman, who nearly tied her career high of 32 digs, was one shy of that record with 31 against TAMUC, has a team best 267 digs while Sanni Rantanen has 68 blocks on the year.

• Coming off a 3-1 win at Lamar on Thursday
