LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball will travel to Hammond Tuesday night for the first of three Southland Conference matches this week. First serve at the University Center is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
McNeese (5-11, 1-1 SLC) is coming off a hard fought five set home loss against Northwestern State last Saturday in a match that could have gone either way.
 
Southeastern, who was picked to finish third in the league and is currently tied for second place in the league standings, will enter the match 12-3 overall and 2-1 in the SLC. The Lions opened the SLC race with a 3-0 win over Northwestern State on Sept. 15.
 
Last week Southeastern fell 3-0 on the road at Houston Christian on Thursday and are coming off an upset 3-0 win over preseason favorite Texas A&M-Corpus Christi  on Saturday.
 
McNeese will travel to Nicholls on Thursday, Sept. 29 before returning home on Saturday, Oct. 1 to host New Orleans for Youth Day.
