LAKE CHARLES--- Coming off its first win of the season at the Stephen F. Austin Hampton Inn Invitational last weekend, McNeese volleyball (1-5) will travel to Houston, Texas on Tuesday, Sept. 6 to face the 4-1 Rice Owls. First serve is set for 6 p.m. and the match is scheduled to be streamed on CUSA TV.

McNeese is coming off a 2-1 record last weekend with its win coming in a 3-2 win over Tulsa for not only the first win of the season for the Cowgirls but the first win as a head coach for first year head coach
Sasha Karelov.

Leading the Cowgirls into Tuesday's match will be
Kendall Glueck and
Bailey Tillman who were both named to the all-tournament team.

Glueck is coming off a weekend where she collected 40 kills, 21 digs along with 17 blocks. She leads the Cowgirls with 73 kills on the season and is second with 27 blocks.

Tillman was credited with 57 digs including a career high 32 in the win against Tulsa. She averaged 4.38 digs per set over the weekend. For the season, she is second on the team with 81 digs.

Other statistical leaders has
Mia Perales leading the team with 101 assists and eight service aces.
Sanni Rantanen who set a new McNeese single match block assists record with 12 against Tulsa, leads the team with 31 blocks.

Following Tuesday's match, McNeese will remain on the road and will travel to San Antonio, Texas to take part in the UTSA Invitational this Friday and Saturday.
