Get ready for Thirsty Thursdays at the Legacy Center!
 
Beginning this Thursday when McNeese hosts Northwestern State in a double-header basketball game, fans will be treated to a new tradition called "Thirsty Thursdays" where adults 21 and older will be able to purchase $1 draft beers at the specially designated Beer Garden.
 
The Beer Garden will be located on the fourth level, or Citgo Plaza, inside the Legacy Center. Beer sales will end with 10 minutes to play in the second half of the men's game.
 
"I'm excited to add a beer garden and have dollar drafts every Thursday during the conference season," said McNeese Director of Athletics Heath Schroyer. "I want to continue to look for ways to upgrade our game experience and our Beer Garden and our Thirsty Thursday promotion will do just that.
 
"It is the best deal in town. I want to especially thank Southwest Beverage for helping us make this happen. Geaux Pokes!"
 
The Cowgirls will tip-off against the Lady Demons at 5 p.m. followed by the Cowboys and Demons at 7:30.
