Cowboys host Demons on Joe Dumars Day

LAKE CHARLES –
McNeese will celebrate the legacy of Joe Dumars prior to Thursday night's 7:30 tip-off against Northwestern State with the official unveiling of Joe Dumars Court.
 
The Cowboys (4-10, 1-0 SLC) are coming off an 81-62 win at Lamar last Saturday while the Demons (8-6, 0-1) dropped a 65-59 contest at home to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
 
Thursday's game and the pregame ceremony to honor Dumars will broadcast live on ESPN+.
 
Series vs. Northwestern State:
Thursday's game will be the 134th meeting in the series with the Cowboys holding a 68-65 advantage.
• The Cowboys have won three straight in the series with all three coming last season, sweeping the regular season series (93-84 at McNeese, 80-75 at NSU) and in the first round of the SLC Tournament (80-67).

• Beginning this Thursday when McNeese hosts Northwestern State in a double-header basketball game, fans will be treated to a new tradition called "Thirsty Thursdays" where adults 21 and over will be able to purchase $1 draft beers at the specially designated Beer Garden.
• The Beer Garden will be located on the fourth level, or Citgo Plaza, inside the Legacy Center. Beer sales will end with 10 minutes to play in the second half of the men's game.
