Cowgirls hit road to face UIW and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi

LAKE CHARLES - Entering the second to final week of regular season play, the McNeese soccer program (7-5-3, 4-1-2 SLC) takes to the road once again to challenge UIW (5-7-1, 2-5-0 SLC) and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (7-6-3, 4-3-1 SLC) on Friday and Sunday respectively.

Friday's matchup kicks off at 6:30 p.m. against the Cardinals with Sunday starting at 1 p.m. with the Islanders. The matches will be played at Gayle and Tom Benson Stadium and the Dr. Jack Dugan Soccer and Track Stadium respectively.

The Cowgirls and the Cardinals last faced each other on October 16, 2022 where McNeese took a 3-0 victory at home.

Earlier this season, the Islanders traveled to Lake Charles where the blue and gold battled them to a 1-1 tie at Cowgirl Field.

Both matches are to be streamed on ESPN+ with live stats to follow along live as well.

- McNeese has outscored its opponents 26-15 thus far.
- The Cowgirls have the third-least goals scored on them this season in the conference.
