Bailey Tillman has been named Southland Conference Volleyball "Defensive Player of the Week", the league announced Monday. The honor makes this the fifth time a Cowgirl has earned the weekly honor.
The native of Sugar Land, Texas continued her solid play in the back row last week, picking up 52 digs for an average of 7.43 digs per set. She began the week by tying her career high with 32 digs against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi then ended the week with a match high 20 digs in the win over New Orleans.
Tillman currently ranks 17
th in the nation in digs with 428 on the season and leads the SLC with 231 for an average of 6.60 per set in conference matches.
