LAKE CHARLES- McNeese volleyball continues its three-match week with a Thursday home match against Incarnate Word (12-12, 4-8 SLC).  First serve is set for 4 p.m. The Cowgirls will Texas A&M-Commerce (9-16, 5-7 SLC) at 11 a.m. Saturday.
 
Fans planning on attending the game on Thursday are asked to either park on campus or at the FK White Middle School parking lot after 3:30 p.m.  All lots around the Legacy Center on Thursday will be closed due to the homecoming parade setup and lineup.  For Saturday's match fans are asked to park on campus or at FK White Middle School as well due to the Cowboys football game against Northwestern State. See Map below.  
 
McNeese (11-14, 9-3 SLC) is coming off a straight set win over Nicholls on Tuesday that saw the Cowgirls' offense execute efficiently throughout the match.  The Cowgirls will be looking to pick up its second win over both teams this season.  McNeese defeated UIW 3-1 in San Antonio, Texas just over a month ago and opened SLC play with a 3-0 win in Commerce on Sept. 14.
 
The Cowgirls continue to lead the conference in digs with an average of 18.42 per set in league matches.  McNeese ranks second in assists (14.18), kills (14.82), and service aces (1.74).
 
Junior libero Bailey Tillman continues to lead the SLC with 6.47 digs per set in conference matches and ranks 17th in the NCAA with 428 digs on the season.
 
Carissa Chainey ranks second in the SLC in conference only matches with 161 kills McKenzie Moore ranks second in the with 18 aces, Tshilanda Diouf ranks second with 40 blocks, Emma Hendricks ranks third with 281 assists, and Kendall Osgood ranks 10th with 124 digs.  Chainey also ranks sixth with a .313 hitting percent while Sanni Rantanen ranks eighth (.309), and Moore ranks 10th (.288).
 
 MATCH NOTES
• Its the second time this season, McNeese is playing three matches in a week
• McNeese enters the match in third place behind Southeastern and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
• McNeese will look to pick up its second win of the season against both UIW and Texas A&M-Commerce.
• McNeese has won nine of its last 12 matches
