FRISCO, Texas- For the third consecutive week and fourth time this season, McNeese junior libero
Bailey Tillman has been named the Southland Conference "Defensive Player of the Week", the league announced Monday afternoon.
The native of Sugar Land, Texas continued her dominant back row play last week by helping the Cowgirls to an undefeated 3-0 record on her way to moving into McNeese's Top 10 in career digs, moving into ninth place with 1,242.
Tillman led the Cowgirls in assists in all three matches, totaling 55 digs for an average of 5.50 per set.
She currently ranks 14th in the nation in total digs with 483 and 19th in digs per set, averaging 5.08.
