LAKE CHARLES- McNeese volleyball will hit the road for both its matches this week beginning with a 6 p.m. match at Lamar before ending the week with a 3 p.m. match at Northwestern State Saturday.
 
McNeese (13-14, 11-3 SLC) enters the week having won 11 of its last 14 matches and are in third place in the conference standings behind Southeastern and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi who both enter the week with a 13-1 conference record.
 
The Cowgirls will also be looking to pick up its second win over both teams after picking up straight set wins in Lake Charles in October.
 
The Cowgirls continue to lead the conference in digs with an average of 18.31 per set in league matches.  McNeese ranks second in assists (14.16), kills (14.87), and service aces (1.76).
 
Junior libero Bailey Tillman who was named the Southland's Defensive "Player of the Week" for the third consecutive week continues to lead the SLC with 6.36 digs per set in conference matches and ranks 14th in the NCAA with 483 total digs and 19th in digs per set (5.08).
 
Carissa Chainey ranks second in the SLC in conference only matches with 191 kills (4.24 per match). McKenzie Moore ranks third in aces the with 21, Tshilanda Diouf ranks second with 44 blocks and ninth with a .301 hitting percent. Emma Hendricks ranks third with 360 assists, and Kendall Osgood ranks 10th with 149 digs.  Sanni Rantanen ranks seventh with a .318 hitting percent, and Kayla Wilson ranks 10th with 137 kills.
