LAKE CHARLES—McNeese head women's tennis coach Gabby Moore has released the 2024 schedule and its one that will have the Cowgirls playing the role of "Road Warriors" this season with 15 matches on the road and only seven home matches.  All home matches will be play at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center on campus.
 
The Cowgirls will open the season on January 19 with a doubleheader against Prairie View.  After four road matches, the Cowgirls will return home on Feb. 3 and Feb. 4 to host Idaho and Alcorn.
 
McNeese will then hit the road for its next eight matches including the Southland Conference opener at New Orleans on March 2.
 
The Cowgirls will close out its home slate with three consecutive matches beginning with a non-conference match against Missouri State on March 11.  McNeese will play only two conference matches on its home court, those being against Southeastern (2 p.m.) and Northwestern State (1 p.m.).
 
The Southland Conference Tournament is scheduled for April 18-21 in San Antonio and hosted by Incarnate Word.
