LAKE CHARLES-  McNeese women's basketball will travel to Waco, Texas on Friday to face No. 14/18 Baylor in its first road contest of the season.  Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. and the game will be streamed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.  The game can also be heard on Talk Radio.com with Bruce Merchant calling the action.
 
McNeese (2-4) is coming off a 107-77 win over North American University on Tuesday while Baylor (3-0) has its wins over Southern, No. 4 Utah and most recently an 81-71 win over Harvard.
 
The Cowgirls enter the game with four players averaging in double figures with Emilia Tenbrock leading the way with 11.3 ppg.  Azjah Reeves (10.8), Cristina Gil (10.7), and Mireia Yespes (10.3) are also averaging in double figures.  Julia Puente, who is coming off her first career double double leads McNeese with 6.5 rpg.
 
Baylor has four players averaging in double figures with Dre'Una Edwards leading the Bears with 16.0 ppg. and Darianna Littlepage-Buggs leads the team with 7.7 rpg.
