LAKE CHARLES—McNeese head softball coach
James Landreneau has announced the signing of 10 student-athletes to a National Letter of Intent to join the Cowgirls' championship squad for the 2025 season.
"We are really excited about our current program, as well as the direction we are heading with this incoming recruiting class," said head coach
James Landreneau. "We were able to attract multi-dimensional athletes with a combination of speed and power, in addition to being highly competitive individuals. We believe these qualities will add stress to opposing defenses for years to come.
"When recruiting athletes to McNeese, we feel it is not only important to find players with the skill set to aid the program in reaching new heights but finding the right fit for our culture and the lake area. We believe we are adding student-athletes and families that are a perfect match for McNeese and Louisiana.
"I would like to thank the entire signing class and their families for choosing McNeese, our coaching staff for their hard work, and the community for making McNeese a welcoming place for student athletes to spend their college years."
